Welcome to the Petplan Training area. The PIA (Pet Insuruance Advisor) is an online training tool which on successful completion qualifies you as a PIA. The aim of the training is to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Petplan insurance in order for you to be able to advise clients on the best policy to take out for their pet. The training will also ensure you have a greater understanding of the importance of keeping pets insured. 

PIA modules one to three are mandatory for all CVS employees. Those employees who completed their PIA prior to 2010 will also need to complete the online training as the PIA is only valid for a two year period.

 Royal Canin Nutrition Trianing 

Welcome to the Royal Canin Training ar ea. This area has been designed to give you quick and easy access to the online training provided by Royal Canin. In addition, you will also be able to access the latest information on products, promotions and available CPD.

As a member of the veterinary team you play an important part in educating the public about pet healthcare. The Royal Canin E-Learning aims to give you a comprehensive knowledge about animal nutrition in order for you to be able to confidently advise clients and understand the impact of correct nutrition on pet health and disease.

The Royal Canin Training is mandatory for all staff working in a CVS practice. For those new to the company it is expected that you will have completed the trianing within the first three months of employment.  

Staff members having completed the Hills VNA Training may be exempt from elements of this training but may be asked to provide proof of completion. It is always advised to revisit the training frequently due to constant changes in scientific understanding and new product ranges.

This area is designed soley for New Graduates who are part of the scheme. Here you will find access to CPD dates, be able to leave feedback and download lecture notes.

You will also be able to chat with others on your programme and find lots of other useful information.

This area is designed for Clinical Directors/Practice Managers looking to recruit for a New Graduate position. You will also find helpful information such as dates of CPD and contacts.

This course is designed for individuals who are responsible for carrying out Performance Appraisals across CVS.

Training the mind which enables us to change patterns of thinking and feeling about our experiences especially stressful experiences.

These courses are designed for staff with responsibility for managing people across CVS.

This course is designed for all new starters to the practice division (excluding vets).  There is often room for other members of staff who have not attended. 

 

The Practice Matters seminar will provide a highly intensive induction for all new starters ensuring they have access to all information at an early stage of their employment.

All receptionists and nurses often performing a receptionist role, if you have attended previously then you can still attend as the topics covered have changed.

You will be updated on best practice, taught new skills, gain confidence and support in your role.  You will also get the opportunity to meet staff from other sites and discuss ideas to help your practice.

The course is aimed at general practitioners covering varying topics.
